Had not given this guy a second thought until I stumbled upon his sculptures. He is a wizard of form and color. They are strangely touching in a 80s pop-star contemporary spiritual way. The deconstructed forms might be what do that - they are culturally ambiguous - and so might the brightness and upward movement quality of the works. They seem to reach for something.
