I think that the play off of the veneer's material properties is brilliant - it would be an interesting research project to begin with several materials and work to list everyone of its material properties... and then play off of those different properties when designing a new piece of furniture!
Ok. This is sick. BUT I agree with Anna, it seems like more of a sculpture than a functional chair.

ReplyDeleteI bet you create quite the ruckus as you sit down on all the bending strips of wood. Not the quietest seat, that is for sure.
