Though one may think that bread could never be solid enough to be a piece of furniture, I am very well aware of this property of extra stale baguettes. I once cut myself on a piece of stale baguette so badly that I still have a scar from it.
^^^pluses to that story. I checked out this design studio and I have to say I was very impressed. Their designs are utilizing older, modern forms to a contemporary effect through material, color, and simplicity of form. I do not mean simplicity to mean ordinary though, they are just not complex in structure. They are very interesting.
I wonder, despite knowing how hard baguettes can be, whether wear and tear would have a larger effect on this "table". Also - dampness would absolutely decimate this. Recycling food materials is a really cool idea though!
